What's New on Knowre Math 2022

With the start of the 2022-2023 school year, we are thrilled to announce a number of exciting curricular enhancements to the grade 2, 3, 4, and Pre-Algebra curricula on Knowre Math. As a comprehensive supplemental resource for math, we are constantly striving to expand topic coverage and improve the overall student math learning experience.

As always, these developments are the direct result of administrator, teacher, and student feedback and questions. Our curriculum team of former teachers has been hard at work to ensure this update meets your needs and goals.

Grades 2

The Grade 2 curriculum update includes a new lesson on Ordinal Numbers and expanded coverage into the following topic areas:

  • Basic Addition Facts
  • Basic Subtraction Facts
  • Numbers Less Than 100
  • Adding and Subtracting Whole Numbers (Less Than 100 and 1000)
  • Measuring Lengths

Grades 3

The Grade 3 curriculum update includes expanded coverage into the following topic areas:

  • Place Value
  • Adding and Subtracting
  • Modeling Multiplication
  • Multiplication Fluency
  • Modeling Division
  • Division Fluency
  • Mixed Operations and Patterns
  • Fractions
  • Measurement
  • Data
  • Two-Dimensional Figures

Grades 4

The Grade 4 curriculum update includes expanded coverage into the following topic areas:

  • Whole Numbers (reading and writing numbers, comparing and ordering numbers)
  • Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying, and Dividing Whole Numbers
  • Operations and Patterns
  • Fraction Concepts
  • Fraction Addition, Subtraction, and Multiplication
  • Decimals
  • Points, Lines, and Angles
  • Triangles and Quadrilaterals

Pre-Algebra

The Pre-Algebra curriculum update includes expanded coverage into the following topic areas:

  • Integers and Rational Number Operations (These two topics have been combined into one chapter)
  • Basics of Algebra
  • Equations and Inequalities
  • Proportions and Percents
  • Rations and Linear Functions
  • Slope-Intercept Form and Systems
  • Exponent Properties and Scientific Notation
  • Number Sets and the Pythagorean Theorem
  • Geometry Basics and Angle Relationships
  • Triangles and Polygons
  • Transformations, Congruence, and Similarity
  • Area, Surface Area, and Volume
  • Probability and Simulations
  • Data Analysis

The Prime Factorization lesson has been removed from the Pre-Algebra curriculum. The order of some lessons and chapters has been adjusted to provide a better sequence of learning throughout the curriculum.
